About this event
The Healthwatch network regularly achieves positive changes for their communities, but often this is not recognised. To help you grab the attention of the public and your stakeholders, this session will use the Theory of Change to identify outcomes and new ways of communicating our impact.
These workshops are based on key elements of the Making a Difference Toolkit. With only seven participants at each session, you will be able to explore the topic and identify practical steps for your Healthwatch to take.
Who is this event for?
This event is for Healthwatch leadership and/or people with a responsibility for understanding impact.
We would ask that only one person from your Healthwatch books a place on a particular workshop, given the small groups involved.
What will you learn?
The workshop will particularly focus on:
- What is a Theory of Change and why do one?
- Priority setting
- Identifying outcomes
- How assumptions might influence your activities
- Communicating your impact.
Part of the session will involve a group exercise so participants can help each other explore the true impact of their work.
Who is running this event?
Jon Turner, Impact Programme and Regional Network (North West) Manager and colleagues from the Network Development Team.
