Engaging well with people online

Wednesday 12th August, 2020 - 10:30 to 11:45

About this event

In the 2019 learning needs survey, you told us that creative approaches to engagement are a priority for you. COVID-19 has changed the way engagement can be delivered now and possibly longer term. Lots of you have asked for support from Healthwatch England in online engagement techniques and the different ways you can gather people’s views whilst working and volunteering from home. This session will be an opportunity to hear from your colleagues in the network and share ideas and good practice.

Who is this event for?

This event is for Healthwatch staff and volunteers who carry out engagement activities. We are expecting high demand so would be grateful if only one person from each Healthwatch booked onto each session in the first instance.

What will you learn?

You will learn about online engagement techniques that are working well for Healthwatch, plus tools and approaches that are proving successful during COVID-19. You will gain ideas to try as you revise your engagement plans for this year.

Who is running this event?
