Engaging with people who are digitally excluded

Wednesday 19th August, 2020 - 14:00 to 15:15

About this event

Creative approaches to engagement was a priority for you in the 2019 learning needs survey. The situation with COVID-19 has changed the way engagement is delivered now and possibly longer term. Many of you have asked for support in how to engage with people who are digitally excluded whilst working and volunteering from home. This session will be an opportunity to hear from your colleagues in the network and share ideas and good practice.

Who is this event for?

This event is for Healthwatch staff and volunteers who carry out engagement activities. We are expecting high demand so would be grateful if only one person from each Healthwatch booked onto each session in the first instance.

What will you learn?

You will learn about non-digital engagement techniques that are working well for Healthwatch and approaches that are proving successful during COVID-19. You will gain ideas to try as you revise your engagement plans for this year.

Who is running this event?

Marianne Patterson, Learning and Development Manager for Healthwatch England

Princess Menkiti-Udom , Training, Events and Network Administrator for Healthwatch England
