Maximum capacity for booking – one Healthwatch team
Will your team soon be starting work on a new priority topic? Have you agreed what you will work on, but have yet to fully decide what outcomes you want to achieve and what approach you will take in order to achieve them?
You told us you would like more opportunities to explore your approach to planning for impact. This facilitated workshop will provide your team with the opportunity to develop a Theory of Change for your new piece of work, which will then underpin your more detailed action plan and increase your chances of success.
Who is this event for?
This event is for one Healthwatch team to book as a group to receive support from the facilitator to produce your project’s Theory of Change during the course of the session.
We would ask that you only book this session if all or most staff and/or volunteers who will be involved in the particular piece of work can commit to joining the workshop on the day. We would also ask that at least one of your board members also joins the workshop
What will you learn?
The workshop will particularly focus on:
- What is a Theory of Change and why do one?
- Following the process outlined in our Making a Difference Toolkit.
- Group discussion and activity to facilitate production of a Theory of Change diagram for the specific project you have identified.
- The facilitator will contact you before the workshop to request a summary of the project you will be using to create your Theory of Change.
