In the 2019 learning needs survey, you told us that research skills are a priority for you. This session will cover the basics of how to plan any Healthwatch research project.
Who is this event for?
This event is for Healthwatch staff who undertake the planning of research projects that involve gathering information about health and social care services as part of their role.
What will you learn?
You will learn about the key processes in designing and planning a research project, including how to develop a research question. We will explore the steps needed to answer a research question (such as appropriate methodology, resource allocation, and stakeholder management) and how to apply them to a realistic timeline. You will learn potential ways to minimise bias and consider research ethics.
