About this event
Since March 2020 you have followed government guidance and have stopped face-to-face engagement with the public, including Enter and View visits.
Many of you have started to consider other ways to observe health and care services and developed the term ‘virtual visits’. These cannot be referred to as Enter and View, but are a useful engagement tool at this time.
Working with Healthwatch Doncaster and Healthwatch Newham and considering examples that you have shared on Workplace, we have produced a checklist of things you may want to consider when planning your own virtual visits. In this session you will learn what to consider when planning your virtual visit and offer you the chance to discuss the benefits and challenges of virtual visits and ask any questions.
Who is this event for?
Healthwatch staff who are considering, planning or already delivering virtual visits, including those who think it may be a good idea but don’t know where to start.
What will you learn?
You will learn the key things to think about within a virtual visit:
- Planning
- Volunteer involvement
- Key lines of enquiry
- On the day
- Accessibility and technology
- After the visit
