In this session you will learn the basics of how to plan your Healthwatch research projects.
Who is this event for?
This event is for all staff who undertake the planning of research projects that involve gathering information about health and social care services.
What will you learn?
You will learn about the key processes in designing and planning a research project, including how to develop a research question. You will explore the steps needed to answer a research question (such as appropriate methodology, resource allocation, and stakeholder management) and how to apply them to a realistic timeline. You will learn potential ways to minimise bias and consider research ethics.
Preparation for this session:
This is a participatory session. We will be asking you to share your experiences with research planning, and any questions you may have.
