This session will show you how to plan any Healthwatch research project from start to finish.
Who is this event for?
This event is for Healthwatch staff who plan research projects that involve gathering information about health and social care services as part of their role.
What will you learn?
You will learn about the critical processes in designing and planning a research project, including developing a research question. You will explore the steps needed to answer a research question (such as appropriate methodology, resource allocation, and stakeholder management) and how to apply them to a realistic timeline. You will learn potential ways to minimise bias and consider research ethics.
Preparation for this session:
This is a participatory session. We will be asking you to share your experiences with research planning, and any questions you may have.
