Using the new Healthwatch visual brand

Join us to find out how to put our new visual brand identity into practice at your local Healthwatch. You told us that Healthwatch needs to be a relatable people’s brand, which is just what we’ve set out to do.

Who is this training for?

All staff, but particularly communications and engagement leads who are doing the day-to-day work.

What will you learn?

This session aims to give you an understanding of why we’ve done a brand refresh and how your local Healthwatch can put it into action.

We’ll explain, step-by-step, how to put the new visual brand guidelines into practice – from fonts, colour palette, accessibility and photography.

We’ll also share practical tips on how to create eye catching designs using the Communications Centre, as well as popular design tool Canva, including:

  • An overview of what you can do on Canva
  • How to set up a basic social media card using the new curve design
  • Using elements, such as frames
  • Using brand colours and positioning
  • Creating cut outs and using filters to make your designs stand out
  • Using charts and adding animation to create dynamic gifs
  • Creating a smart mock up
