Action learning set for information and signposting staff (group two)

Meetings
Online
Thursday 21st July, 2022 - 13:00 to 15:30

About this event

Information and signposting staff have told us that they would welcome the opportunity to discuss challenges they face in their role and receive support from peers.

This action learning set will help build your confidence and skills in handling information and signposting calls and providing excellent service to the public. You will work with a small group of staff from other local Healthwatch to share experiences and help each other consider the best way to handle different scenarios and challenges. The focus will be on skills and confidence development rather than health and care services knowledge. You will agree on actions that you will carry out between sessions to help you in your role.

The group will meet once a month for six months, and each person will have the opportunity to present a challenge or scenario for the group to focus on.

You must have the permission of your manager to take part. You must be able to attend all six sessions, and by signing up, you are committing to do so. Only one place per Healthwatch is available. These are:

Session 1 – Thursday 21 July 1pm – 3.30pm

Session 2 – Thursday 18 August – 1.30pm – 3pm

Session 3 – Thursday 22 September 1.30pm – 3pm

Session 4 – Thursday 20 October 1.30pm – 3pm

Session 5 – Thursday 24 November 1.30pm – 3pm

Session 6 – Thursday 15 December 1.30pm – 3pm
