About the guidance

At Healthwatch, we use a variety of research methods to collect people's experiences of health and social care services.

Most commonly we use surveys to gather this information, which is why we've put together guidance on how to design a good quality survey. This includes, how to create questions to collect the information you want and examples of demographic questions you can ask with a survey.
