Eight conference conversation starters for social media

The Healthwatch 2019 conference is a great opportunity to chat with colleagues and share learning across the network. Let’s keep the conversation going online with these conversation starters.

Don’t forget to include #Healthwatch2019 in  this year’s conference posts. Tag us in where you can too.

What can you share messages about?

We’ve put together a list of prompts for you to think about during conference. Take part in the conversation and share your experience and learnings with others.

On the way….

  1. Where are you coming from and who are you with?
Take a selfie of you and your team, and give a shout out to your local Healthwatch.

  2. Got an achievement you’re looking forward to sharing?
What has your Healthwatch done in the last year that you are looking forward to sharing with colleagues?

  3. What session are you most looking forward to?
Are you looking forward to a particular session? What are you hoping to learn more about? If you are leading a session give us a little preview on Twitter about what you’re going to talk about.

While you are there…

  1. Who are you talking to?
It’s all about networking. Make stronger contacts over social media and let us know what you’re talking about with other local Healthwatch.

  2. Have you learnt anything particularly interesting?
Have you been to a motivating session that has left you thinking about how you could do things differently? Tell us and share with the rest of the network!

  3. Got a message for someone who can't be there?
Have you heard something that people or professionals in your community would benefit from hearing? Why not share it with them?

  4. Who do you think will take home the trophy at this year’s Healthwatch Network Awards?
Tweet your favourite story and words of encouragement to your colleagues before the awards evening.

On your way home….

  1. What has been your best moment?
Everyone has a favourite moment from an event. Whether it’s a new connection you’ve made, a piece of advice you’re taking home, or the joy of time spent out of the office networking. Share your best bits.

Join the conversation and, if you cannot make the conference this year, why not follow developments on social media or by visiting the network site where we will pull together the best bits from social.

Looking forward to seeing you all at #Healthwatch2019

Twitter or Workplace?

Workplace

  • Asking and answering questions to share knowledge and resources

If you are signed-up to our Facebook Workplace group and want to use it while you are away from your computer, don't forget you can download the mobile app from both Google Play and the  Apple App Store.
