Each year we invite local authority commissioners to share what we’ve learnt from the network and help inform the commissioning process of Healthwatch.
Type of event
1. After 10 years of Healthwatch, we want to share with you some key trends and factors that are affecting the future sustainability of the Healthwatch network. With changes to the health and care landscape, we're taking time to reflect on the current model of Healthwatch and would like to hear the perspective of local authority commissioners as part of our wider engagement with stakeholders.
2. Local authorities asked us to look at the potential for developing a contract monitoring framework including producing a template which could be adapted by local authorities. We've looked at examples used by local authorities and would like to share with you early thinking on a possible framework and explore the appetite among local authorities for taking this further.
