Small group workshop with active participation. Having your camera on and joining in with the discussions will be appreciated by the trainer and the rest of the group.
Who is this event for?
This event is for Healthwatch staff who provide health and care information, signposting, and advice to members of the public, over the phone, by e-mail and social media, working both remotely and office based. It will also be useful to experienced members of Healthwatch staff, as well as colleagues who are new to the role.
What will you learn?
This workshop will help you to identify how to support your personal wellbeing and resilience, with a specific focus on how to:
- Learn how to identify the signs and impact dealing with challenging personal stories has on a call handler.
- Learn techniques and practices to strengthen personal resilience, including different approaches and methods.
- Discuss the importance of self-care in the workplace and share learning with peers on how to maintain wellbeing whilst carrying out your role.
