Deliberative engagement techniques

Training
Online
Thursday 25th July, 2024 - 10:00 to 12:00

About this event

Deliberative engagement is a form of public engagement that supports participants in providing a considered viewpoint. In deliberative engagement, you work with the same participants over multiple weeks, giving them space to learn, debate, empathise, reflect and make decisions. As a research tool, this process can generate richer insight than other qualitative methods, such as interviews and standalone focus groups.

This event will show you how to use deliberative public engagement in your research.

Type of event

Interactive learning session to small audience. Joining in with your camera on will be appreciated.
