About this event
Join us at our Healthwatch Volunteer Leads network meeting to explore good practice in volunteer management. You will meet with colleagues across the network to share successes and challenges and support each other in a friendly and informal setting.
In this meeting we will explore employability and skills development within volunteering, including partnering with organisations that support people back into work.
Type of event
Networking meeting with presentations and discussion, as well as the chance to share experiences and support each other on any aspect of volunteer management.
Joining in with your camera on will be appreciated.

Healthwatch staff who support and manage volunteers.
What will you learn?
By taking part you will have to opportunity to:
- hear from Healthwatch BSNNG about their approach to skills development and volunteering for employability.
- discuss different organisations that you could work with who support people back to work and those who are NEET (not in education or training).
- Explore the potential benefits and practical steps you would need to take to do this in your Healthwatch.
- share your own experience of volunteering and employability.
- ask your peers for help with specific issues and gain their advice and support.
- contribute questions and agenda items.
