This interactive event will show you how to design and use interview guides for semi-structured interviews with research participants.

This event is for Healthwatch staff that design or use interview guides for interviews with research participants.
What will you learn?
In this session you will:
- learn how to develop interview questions from research questions.
- understand how to ask appropriate probing questions based on participants' responses.
- know how to prepare interviewers to carry out semi-structured interviews.
- get to discuss your experiences designing and using interview guides.
- practice conducting semi-structured interviews in small breakout groups, with demonstrations and support from a facilitator.
