About this event
Join us at our Healthwatch Volunteer Leads network meeting to explore good practice in volunteer management. You will meet with colleagues across the network to share successes and challenges and support each other in a friendly and informal setting.
In this meeting we will explore recruiting and supporting a wide range of volunteers from different backgrounds and demographics, so that our volunteers are representative of the communities we serve.
Type of event
Networking meeting with presentations and discussion, as well as the chance to share experiences and support each other on any aspect of volunteer management.
Joining in with your camera on will be appreciated.

- hear from Healthwatch BSNNG about their approach to diversity in volunteering.
- discuss different approaches you can take to ensure your volunteers are representative of the communities you serve.
- Explore practical steps you would need to take to increase the diversity of your own volunteer base.
- Discuss the processes you need to underpin good recruitment across a range of demographics.
- ask your peers for help with specific issues and gain their advice and support.
- contribute questions and agenda items.
