This event is for Healthwatch staff who need to undertake qualitative data analysis and interpret the results.
We also welcome staff in non-research-related roles who are keen to widen their skills and understanding of data analysis.
What will you learn?
In this session you will:
- Understand the importance and use of qualitative data.
- Explore the stages of qualitative data analysis, including data management, developing coding frameworks and identifying emerging themes.
- Brief examples of how to use Microsoft Excel in qualitative analysis.
- Understand how you can minimise bias in your analysis and learn about tools you can use to conduct qualitative analysis.
- Learn some tips on how best to use your data in reports.
