About this event
Join us at our Healthwatch Volunteer Leads network meeting where we will be discussing engaging volunteers in project work. This will include volunteer led projects and specific roles within work plan projects. We will explore good practice in involving volunteers in your projects and showcasing a local Healthwatch’s successful approach.
You will meet with colleagues across the network to share successes and challenges and support each other in a friendly and informal setting.
Type of event
Networking meeting with presentations and discussion, as well as the chance to share experiences and support each other on any aspect of volunteer management.
Joining in with your camera on will be appreciated.

Healthwatch staff who support and manage volunteers.
What you will learn?
By taking part, you will have to opportunity to:
- discuss the different ways you can involve volunteers in your project work
- hear from a local Healthwatch about their approach to project-based volunteering
- explore what processes we should have in place to support our volunteers in projects
- share ideas and good practice
- ask your peers for help with specific issues and gain their advice and support.
- contribute questions and agenda items
