About this event

This will be a small interactive event that will cover the importance of good decision making and the benefits of a strong process. You will have the opportunity to share your challenges, barriers and successes, and explore:

  • How you can ensure you are meeting your legal responsibilities in decision making.
  • How your decision-making process can lead to better outcomes.
  • How this helps you complete your self-assessment for the Quality Framework.

Please come with some scenarios in mind where you think a strong decision making process would have helped and be prepared to talk about your successes and disappointments in your own experience.

Healthwatch lead officers, managers and board members.

What will you learn?

This webinar will introduce you to Healthwatch England’s Decision-Making Policy to help you understand:

  • How it has been developed and why each Healthwatch should have one.
  • What makes a good Decision-Making policy.
  • Practical applications of decision making.
