About this event

We know many of you are experiencing, facing and/or preparing for significant change.  Many of you asked for support in navigating that change so we have sourced this course from the Management Centre.  If there is demand, we will book more sessions.

The session is designed to help you to respond effectively to change. The programme emphasises key skills to enable you to navigate change and challenging situations successfully. It emphasises the benefits of emotional intelligence and personal resilience when experiencing change at work. It also provides tools and techniques to understand and respond to change. There is significant emphasis on self-reflection.

Type of event

Interactive learning session with a group of 16 participants. Joining in with your camera on will help you get the most from the session.

You will be expected to share, discuss and give feedback to colleagues on real-work situations. You only need to share what you are comfortable to share. We expect everyone on the course to contribute and to listen to colleagues with an open mind.

If there are any personal barriers you are concerned about, or if you have any accommodations needed for you to interact fully on the day that you would like the trainer to be aware of please get in touch before the session via Event.Enquiries@healthwatch.co.uk

Who is this event for?

This session is for Healthwatch staff who want to spend time reflecting on change and their own personal techniques to navigate it.

What you will learn?

This is an interactive online half-day session. It will include an introduction to tools and models to frame your thinking, individual work, peer coaching and group work. You will share experiences and examples with colleagues, though do not need to share anything you don’t feel comfortable sharing. Much of the work is also based around offline personal reflection and action planning.

Following the programme, you will be asked to complete an individual action plan to help you develop your skills and confidence.

By the end of the programme, you will be able to:

• understand how you navigate change successfully

• identify strategies needed to effectively respond to changes at work

be more aware of your needs and stay in control during change
