Project management for non-project managers

Meetings
Online
Tuesday 11th November, 2025 - 9:45 to 15:30

About this event

Many of you asked for training in project management in the recent learning needs survey so we have sourced this course from Total Success Training.  If there is demand, we will book more sessions.

This course is designed to give you the tools needed to develop a workable project strategy, plan the project, control its implementation and evaluate the results in line with the original aims and objectives. It not only teaches skills but also gives you the confidence to successfully complete your projects on time and within budget.

All delegates will receive a 60-page workbook that doubles as an excellent post-course reference manual. All forms and templates used on the course are available as Word documents for use after the course.

Type of event

Interactive learning session with a group of 12 participants. The course is highly participative and experiential. You will design and prepare to deliver actual projects during the course.

There are pre-course exercises that need to be completed before the course, as you will be using them on the day. You will also receive the activities you’ll be doing on the course in advance. These can be completed before the course, but this is not essential

Please only book a place if you can commit to the full day, complete the pre-course exercise and are able to join in and participate.

Who is this event for?

This session is for Healthwatch staff who want to develop their project management skills, for existing projects and their own personal development.
