This event will provide you with an opportunity to hear from Healthwatch about undertaking research on men’s health, including insights into how to design effective research projects focused on men, as well as examples of local Healthwatch projects and their impact. You’ll also hear about the development of Healthwatch England’s Men’s Health report, which has been designed to align with the upcoming Men’s Health Strategy soon to be released by the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC).

Join us at our Healthwatch Volunteer Leads network meeting where we will be discussing how to best support our Enter & View Authorised Representatives. This will include training, management and processes we must have in place and the role of the volunteer lead. We will explore good practice in supporting E&V volunteers and showcasing a local Healthwatch’s successful approach.
This session will introduce the way that councils manage health and care services (including social care and Public Health).
We will focus on how you can work with different parts of your local council to influence decisions and make change.
