Identifying Outcomes. Talking Impact.

Training
Online - Webinar
Wednesday 9th March, 2022 - 10:00 to 12:30

About this event

Healthwatch achieve many impactful positive changes for service users, but too often, these are not fully recognised. By considering the Theory of Change that sits behind each piece of our work and focusing on identifying your true outcomes, you can discover new ways to articulate your impact and grab the attention of stakeholders.

These small-group workshops are based on showing you the critical elements of the Making a Difference Toolkit. With a maximum of seven participants at each session, you will be able to explore the topic with peers and identify practical steps you can take.

Who is this event for?

This event is for any Healthwatch paid staff who want to better understand outcomes and impact.

Given the small groups involved, we would ask that only one person from your Healthwatch books a place on a particular workshop.

What will you learn?

The workshop will focus on showing you:

  • What is a Theory of Change, and why you should do one?
  • How you can set your priorities
  • How you can identify outcomes
  • How assumptions might influence your activities

Part of the session will involve a group exercise so participants can help each other explore the true impact of their work.

Who is running this event?

Jon Turner, Impact Programme and Regional Network (North West) Manager and colleagues from the Network Development Team.
