Volunteering Masterclass - Essentials of Volunteer Management

Our 2023 Learning Needs survey tells us that local Healthwatch staff who manage, and support volunteers would like to receive help in all areas of volunteer management.

This session will provide an overview of the critical elements of volunteer management.

Interactive learning session for small audience.

Please come with examples from your experience of working with volunteers, if you have that, including successes and challenges.

Who is this event for?

Staff within Healthwatch who support and manage volunteers as well as board or advisory group members who take a lead in volunteering.

What will you learn?

You will learn about the essentials of volunteer management, including:

• Your Volunteering Strategy
• Recruitment
• Induction and learning and development of volunteers
• Management and support

This session is also an opportunity to learn from peers carrying out the same roles in other Healthwatch.
